About UsClick Here for Classes in Burnie Tasmania
The name of our Tasmanian Tai Chi Chuan school means the following.
It is entitled Li Chi Hsiang to reflect three governing philosophical concepts arising from the Yi -Jing, book of changes. Li Chi Hsiang is NOT a branch, style or new system of Tai Chi Chuan.
Inner Health reflects that we are a branch of the Inner Health Tai Chi Chuan school in Adelaide. If diligently studied this ancient Chinese Taoist martial art can lead to better health, mental well-being and effective self-defense. |
Our Purpose |
To teach Tai Chi Chuan and related Taoist internal practices as a means for rejuvenation, transformation and well-being.
|
Our Teacher |
For over 30 years Darren Cox has studied the Art of Yang style Tai Chi Chuan (focusing on Cheng Man Ching's 37 Form) and Taoist internal practices.
Darren thanks his teachers Sifu Roman Czerniawsky and Sifu John Hartley for their patient guidance in transmitting the principles and philosophies of the Art. Darren received permission to teach Tai Chi Chuan in 1999 from his teachers. Darren relocated to Burnie, Tasmania, in 2005 where he offers instruction to interested students. |
