​Tai Chi Chuan?

Tai Chi Classes Lessons and Curriculum

Beginner Class 

When: MONDAY Night 6:15 pm to 7:30pm
Where: Marist Regional College, Burnie
Curriculum: Beginner Level
  • Standing meditation 
  • Fundamental exercises
  • Mindful walking exercises (Brush Knee, Repulse Monkey and Cloud Hands)

​Please email or phone Darren to arrange a meeting early before class so he can go through some basics before you join the class. Thank you

Intermediate Class 

When: Wednesday Night 6:15 pm to 7:30pm
Where: Marist Regional College, Burnie.

Curriculum: Intermediate Level
After some time has passed and the student has progressed through the beginners curriculum they are invited to the intermediate class.  Here we explore and practise a more internalised understanding standing and moving meditation by learning the following;  
  • Wu Chi Standing meditation 
  • Huang's 5 Loosing exercises 
  • Cheng Man Ching's 37 Form

When: Wednesday Night 7:30 pm to 8:30pm
Where: Marist Regional College, Burnie.

  • Sensing Hands
  • Ta Lu
  • Sword Form
